Before lipstick, I loved nail polish - I still do. Like the first love that you'll never forget, taking up valuable space in your heart and memories - nail polish not only has a special place in my heart but, on my fingertips and in my makeup cabinet too.

One popular fantasy being holographic nails. Personally, I wouldn't call myself a holosexual but, I have always liked glitter (and sequins, and sparkly thread ... alright most shiny things). So, when I came across holographic nail polish, my appetite was more than interested. Yet, honestly on UK streets, a good holo is hard to find. So much so, that I ended up looking at all the international things I couldn't get like Super Black Lacquers or stuff where custom charges would've knocked me out for 6. Sure I had, Color Club, some Milani holo's and some chunky gritty glitter holos but, it all didn't seem enough ...
Then on one faithful night, whilst browsing on Rainbow Connection a pop up appeared that said someone somewhere, bought Haute Parisian Nights. The shade was gorgeous - I tried to click it but it vanished - thankfully it came around again and I was able to go through the portal and make my purchase ...
To cut this story short - let's just say that holographic/holo nail polish has captured my attention. It has all the gorgeousness of a glitter polish without the laborious removal process & who doesn't like rainbows?!

Haute Parisian Nights is described by Painted Polish to be, a "bright pink ultra holo with added silver holographic glitters for extra sparkle!". I'd go further and call it a berry pink magical pot of splendour. I love it & its fast become one of my go-to polishes as it has extremely descent wear for me (3 days). The polish dries fast and its easy to apply a fresh coat over chip and tip wear if needs must.
